The tools offered in this software extension will enable you to create FEMA DFIRM paper maps and Standard DFIRM Databases compliant with FEMA Guidelines and Specifications for Flood Hazard Mapping Partners.
PBS&J uses Flood Map Desktop 9™, to perform the major portions of the flood mapping process for its DFIRM projects. These customized GIS toolsets have been developed through our many years of experience and have supported hundreds of DFIRM projects and produced thousands of DFIRM maps. The FMD9 is an evolution of the previously released FEMA DFIRM Tools originally developed for FEMA by PBS&J. The tools have been updated to the new ESRI 9.x platform and a number of new tools have been created and added to the software package.
