PBS&J Contribution to Fund Science,
Math at Passport Charter School

Orlando, FL – With the increased emphasis on science and mathematics in Florida schools, up-to-date curriculum and resources are crucial for success. Students at Passport Charter School in Orlando will be getting a boost in that area thanks to a donation from PBS&J.

Representatives from PBS&J recently presented Passport Charter School administrators and students with a $2,500 check. The grant, which was funded through The PBSJ Foundation Inc., will be used toward science and math curriculum. “Passport School, Inc. wishes to thank The PBSJ Foundation for their generous grant. We are certain that your contribution will enhance our instructional resources,” said Dr. Osvaldo Garcia, Passport Charter School Principal.

The Passport School, Inc., provides instruction in an inclusive environment to regular education students, gifted students and students with disabilities, by offering instruction based on each student’s individual needs. Offering classes for kindergarten through middle school, the school is one of 16 charter schools operating within the Orange County public school system.
