PBS&J is pleased to announce its acquisition of Land & Water Consulting, Inc., a 43-person engineering and natural resource consulting firm headquartered in Missoula, Montana.

Specializing in the assessment and restoration of natural resources throughout the Northwest and northern Rockies, Land & Water joins PBS&J as a division of the firm's Environmental Services.

Land & Water was incorporated in 1990 as a consulting firm providing technical services to government, industry, and individuals. Since then, they've become known for offering a comprehensive range of environmental, natural resource, and engineering services to their clients.

"The merger offers both companies the opportunity to expand geographically and technically. We expect both companies' clients to benefit," said PBS&J President Todd J. Kenner, P.E.

"PBS&J is a national firm with a growing presence in the West. This partnership will enable Land & Water to continue our efforts to offer excellent service to our clients in Montana and throughout the Rocky Mountain West," said Paul Callahan, president of Land & Water, who now holds the title of vice president and division manager.

Land & Water operates from four offices across Montana including Missoula, Bozeman, Kalispell, and the capital city of Helena. It also has one office in Spokane, Washington. As a result of this merger and its move into the fourth largest state in the U.S., PBS&J now has 70 offices that cross the nation.
