Drinking Water

From our earliest days as a consulting firm, PBS&J has partnered with the public and private entities charged with developing and maintaining safe and adequate water supplies for their customers. This has been accomplished by tapping a pool of experienced staff that thoroughly understands and respects the needs of our clients, as well as the requirements of the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA). This understanding has led PBS&J to offer a wide range of services related to the development, renovation, and optimization of water treatment and distribution systems across the board, applying not only conventional water treatment technologies but—when appropriate—cutting-edge membrane processes including reverse osmosis for desalination and membrane softening.

PBS&J’s skilled application of technology is coupled with our proficiency in regulatory agency coordination, permitting, and public involvement. This well-rounded approach assures our clients of world-class technical service balanced with knowledge of local community needs and resources provided through a network of 60 offices across the U.S.
