PBS&J's landscape design incorporated design elements found in the Florida Panhandle

WindMark is a 2,000-acre single-family residential community developed by St. Joe Towns & Resorts along the Gulf of Mexico in Port St. Joe, Florida. PBS&J provided landscape design in the north Florida vernacular, respecting and preserving the native ecosystem while incorporating design elements found in the Florida Panhandle. PBS&J provided design concepts and construction drawings for a community pool, sales center, entry, and open space. The concept for this St. Joe project emphasized the use of native plant material and regional detailing.

The project received a 2005 Award of Merit at the Florida Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects’ annual design awards competition.
