Cultural Resources Cultural resources are an integral part of our nation's nonrenewable resources and are protected by federal and state laws. PBS&J assists business, industry, and government in meeting regulatory permitting and compliance requirements when a project impacts or has the potential to impact historically significant cultural resources. After more than two decades of service, PBS&J has successfully completed more than 1,000 cultural resource projects in 26 states for transportation, energy, land development, water and wastewater, and governmental clients.
PBS&Js cultural resource management division includes a diverse team of archaeologists, historians and other cultural resource management specialists with demonstrable experience in terrestrial and maritime archaeology, historical research, and architectural/engineering preservation projects. From simple agency records and literature searches requiring the services of an individual specialist to complex, multi-disciplinary data recovery projects requiring large crews of highly qualified personnel, PBS&J provides responsive and cost-effective approaches to meet our clients needs.
